Mucteba Seyit, known as Mujo (b.1999, Beirut), is a visual artist with a Fine Arts diploma and Master’s from the Lebanese University. Despite being raised and educated entirely in Lebanon, his lack of a Lebanese passport due to his Turkish father has left him feeling like an outsider. Fluent in Lebanese Arabic and deeply connected to local traditions, Mujo channels his struggle for belonging into his art, which blends physical and digital media as a pursuit of originality, identity, and recognition. Mujo joined the NFT scene recently, producing a few collections utilizing various media. Every collection illustrates a theme and poses numerous questions regarding the subject. His career in the NFT space is growing every day, and he has shown off some of his digital artworks in several nations, including Dubai, Jordan, India, Paris twice, Manchester, and most importantly, NFT. NYC 2023, one of the biggest NFT events, and NFT.NYC 2024.
