Luna Salamoun //

Luna Salamoun, a Lebanese artist with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Branch II. her work revolves around themes of memory, identity, the body, and the experience of being a woman, using a visual language that shifts between oil painting, mixed media, and video art. She has been making art since childhood, a practice that grew from the fragility and sensitivity that have always been a part of me. Encouraged by my parents, I found in art a space to explore, express, and understand myself. My inspiration comes from everything around me—the spaces I inhabit, the people I encounter, the places I have traveled, and the intricate world inside my own mind. From an early age, creating became both a refuge and a means of dialogue, allowing me to translate emotion, memory, and observation into tangible forms. Over time, this journey has evolved into a lifelong exploration of identity, memory, and the feminine experience, shaping the artist I am today.
