Born in 1968. Passionate about Art since childhood, Maha have always loved painting on all kinds of supports and with all kinds of materials.... But, she was brought up to consider that being an artist cannot be a profession, and that studying the arts is really a useless thing, she did not even dare at the time to mention her intention to enroll in the faculty of arts. It took her several long years to realize that the little “useless” things are the things that please her the most, and she decide to follow her passion. From 2011 to 2013 she took art classes at Emmagos – Musée Emmanuel Paul Guiragossian, which gave her a solid technical foundation. She also followed several painting workshops. Eager to acquire new skills, She began studying Visual Arts at the Lebanese University in 2018 and she obtained her degree in 2021 which she is very proud of. Maha's works vary in style and subject but are all imbued with emotion. She have always been interested in painting the human figure, but she also paints still life, landscapes and abstraction. Oil painting is her main medium but that hasn’t always been the case.
