Lebanon Based Artist, Rima Alameddine has been honing her skills in acrylic painting for the past five years. Originally a designer with a master’s degree in interior architecture, she brings wealth of experience in using art to craft functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Born and raised in Lebanon, she spent 17 years living in Saudi Arabia and Dubai before returning to her homeland. Every year, she travels extensively, making frequent visits to her home country, where she keenly observes details and changes that unfold. From the airplane window, she endeavors to envision that every space and activity she left behind remains unchanged in her hometown. These vivid imaginings serve as inspiration for her artwork.
Currently, she divides her time between Beirut and Tripoli, steadfastly dedicated to pursuing her passion for art. She is inspired by Naïf art style and she is primarily employing acrylic on canvas. Her unique perspective, shaped by her travels and reflections on the passage of time, infuses her work with a distinctive and thought-provoking quality.
