Sara Tawil is a Lebanese visual artist based in Lebanon. She holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University (2023). Her practice centers on expressive figurative painting. Through recurring female figures, her work delves into themes of displacement, memory, and emotional struggle, often reflecting her own personal journey. She employs oil as her primary medium, using its dense textures to intensify the emotional weight of her subjects. Her paintings oscillate between solitude and crowding, stillness and unrest, creating intimate visual narratives that speak to resilience, vulnerability, and the search for inner balance.
Sara highly graded for her thesis "Generative Art Between Algorithms and AI," reflecting strong academic research and innovative insights. She featured in the online blog "Maket Blog," with an article highlighting paintings from the "Moments of Suffer" collection. Sara showcased work at several prominent group exhibitions in Beirut, receiving recognition for expressive and emotive art styles. Her Painting for "Beirut Explosion" won first place at the Lebanese University – Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture.
