**ABOUT ADEL KOUDAIH**

Adel Koudaih is a renowned contemporary artist known for his innovative experience in all aspects of the Fine art, sculpting, and design industry. Born in 1947, in Nabatieh, Koudaih displayed a deep passion for art from a young age. His artistic journey began with sketches and paintings that captured the beauty of his surroundings, inspired by nature's colors and textures.

Adel achieved a DES in Fine arts at the Lebanese University and got his BA in History as well. He, later on, moved to France and got his DEA and Ph.D. in fine arts at the University of Paris VIII in Saint Denise. He spent 30 years working as a professor of fine arts and managed to implant art with more than 1000 professionally completed art pieces. 

He was a member of multiple societies and participated in a number of exhibitions. He also collaborated in group exhibitions in Beirut, Paris, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Damascus, Bahrain, etc. Adel wrote plenty of articles some of which were for Dirasat Moaasira magazine, FIKR  magazine, Dar al Nahar, and AL NOQTA.

Adel Koudaih

**ABOUT GIA MARIA NOUJEIM**

Gaia Maria Noujeim b. 1992, is a Lebanese artist based in Beirut. Gaia acquired her Masters degree in 2020 holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from 2018, both from the Lebanese University Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture II. 

Her artworks evolve around the human conditioning by social, political, and emotional influence. 

She believes that art is a way to question or challenge accustomed behavior whether personal or social in the purpose of elevating reality to a better future. 

Moreover, art is an effective method of transmission of information, so through a wave or movement of art, a civil change may take place.

**ABOUT IMAN TOUFAILY**

Iman Toufaily is a multidisciplinary artist with a Master’s degree in Plastic Arts from the Lebanese University.

She works across various mediums with a major interest in painting, mixed media and collage.
Her main themes are researching contemporary ways in expressing a very personal experience among the current dramatic changes of the world.

Her work has been exhibited in many spaces both locally and internationally and her artworks have been part of many prestigious collections.

Iman Toufaily

**ABOUT MARIE NASSAR**

Marie Joseph Nassar is a Lebanese artist who was born on October 16, 1975 in Wadi El Arayech, Zahlé and grew up in Zeghrine, Matn. She has a Masters in Plastic Art from the Lebanese University's Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, which she received with excellence. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Plastic Art from the same institution.

Throughout her career, Marie has demonstrated a strong dedication to Art. She is the founder of “Art Zone” a fine art teaching academy since 2014. In addition, she has been writing icons since 2012.
 Nassar has participated in numerous art exhibitions, using a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation. Her work is known for its intricate details and often explores themes related to identity, memory, and the human experience.

**ARTIST STATEMENT**

As a Lebanese artist, I draw inspiration for my paintings and sculptures from both my personal life experiences and the environment and nature around me. Through my art work, I strive to capture the beauty, complexity, and diversity of the world we live in, using a range of mixed media to bring my vision to life.

Whether I am working with paint, clay, or found objects, my goal is to create art that evokes a sense of connection and understanding between my viewers and the world around us. 

As an artist, I am constantly exploring new techniques, materials, and ideas, and I am always eager to push the boundaries of what is possible in my art. Through my work, I hope to connect with people from all walks of life, to share my love of art, and to inspire others to create and to celebrate the diversity and resilience of our shared human experience.

Marie Nassar

**ABOUT MARIAM YAHIA HAMZE**

A Lebanese visual artist and visionary, with a master’s degree in fine arts. My work reflects the environment and culture in which I grew up in, a form of accumulated memories portrayed in abstractions of notions like nostalgia, tradition, and nature. 

Through mixing mediums of acrylic, watercolour, oils, textures, written poetry or stories, and a various palette of materials, I begin to express myself through a canvas. And for my art to be genuinely expressive of my story, it must be treated with sensitivity strength, and fineness, as art in its core is a mirror reflecting ones’ journey.

**ARTIST STATEMENT**

I'm a detail-oriented person, creative in nature and experimental in my work and the mediums of choice. I'm patient and thorough, and I give my paintings the time they require to reflect my vision. I'm a visual person, so my inspiration comes from my surroundings: my home, my family, the people in my life, but most of all my past. My work is aimed to reflect the love i feel, of the nostalgia to warmer days.

**ABOUT MAYSA KASSIR**

MAYSAA KASSIR (1976)

My journey started in a war-torn Beirut, Lebanon where I was born and raised. My curiosity towards a creative journey was strong from an early age and it was a standout passion for me; at only 17 years old I had completed my interior design degree and had some work experience in the field. 

The next chapter of my life saw me spend 16 years on the African continent raising a family. My kids were my greatest art project as I took great joy in the process. I was a housewife for the duration of the time and my main focus was my household. It was in this chapter that I grew out of my shell alongside my kids and started to test my limits as an artist. I found myself fully embracing the utmost feminine qualities of nurture love and loyalty expressing towards my community. In this chapter I discovered the self. It was now time to leave my comfort zone and pursue a path of academia. I moved back to Lebanon and while being a full-time mother at the age of 35, I had the urge to pursue my passion and source of creativity. Ten years on, I have completed my pursuit of a fine arts degree and went on to surprise myself by completing my masters in fine arts with honors at the age of 45 at the Lebanese University. I have had the honor of displaying my artwork in national and international exhibitions.

**ARTIST STATEMENT**

Over the years my art began to find its purpose and identity molding itself on its own. I started to feel like I was part of a higher purpose. My art began to show itself as a beacon for divine feminine energy helping me locate a voice and purpose for women too caught up with their feminine traits of selflessness, nurture and care; they often forget to search within.

My artwork is a manifestation of the divine feminine role in different stages of evolution. The evolution starts with understanding to survive in the early stage; followed by an introduction to nurture and love to discover one's frequency. Subsequently arriving to courage and strength to go within to find a deep-rooted connection towards the mother of life.
